My Saturday
Now you may ask what was I working on for nine hours. Well my hubby and I were going to a stag and doe with a 70's theme... so we decided to go as the '72 Summit Series. (Canada vs. Russia)
Here's a couple pictures of the jerseys they wore at the Series. The ones from the movies look a bit different. We did alot of our research from the dvd.

And here is the final result...
I was pretty impressed with the final outcome. As was my hubby, obviously the larger one is his. I ran out of time on the collar though, so I didn't get that one piece finished.
Unfortunately I'm not sure how many people got it at the party. Oh well. Win some, lose some.. and it was great practice.

A Few Wedding Pictures... Just for the sake of it
So without further ado (is that how you spell that?) here are a few (or maybe just four) pics.
My husband and I, our best man and maid of honour. Poor Jen was freezing out on the beach for these pictures. I think it was worth it though.
Our photographer asked my hubby to write something romantic in the sand. And what did he write you might ask... "XOXO Pink Panther" Yep he's a romantic at heart!
This is one of my favourites of our posed pictures.
And finally my favourite of the non-posed pictures. I love the expression on Bull's face.Well I should be back soon with another knitting post. I'll also try to post about some things I've made for my niece for her first birthday.

One Christmas Party, Two Baby Showers, One Weekend?
My grandmother made tie quilts like this one for my sister and I when we were born. And for every other new baby in the family after that. I remember sitting at her kitchen table helping her do the ties. After my grandma passed away my mom took over making the quilts, and now for my nieces and nephews I plan on continuing the tradition.
